Additional Information about Perovskia 'Little Spire'
'Little Spire' is a dwarf variety of Russian sage, reaching about 2 feet in height, compared to the species' typical 3-4 feet. This woody-based perennial belongs to the mint family and showcases finely dissected, aromatic gray-green leaves on rigid, upright, square stems. Throughout the summer, it produces clusters of tubular, violet-blue flowers arranged in tiered, branched panicles. In regions with mild winters, its silvery foliage adds visual interest even during the colder months.
Genus name honors V. A. Perovski (1794 - c.1857) a Russian general. - Missouri Botanical Garden
Growing & Maintenance Tips for Perovskia 'Little Spire'
