Additional Information about Achillea 'Moonshine'

"This hybrid between A. clypeolata and A. x 'Taygetea' was introduced in the 1950's by Alan Bloom of Bressingham Gardens in Diss, England. In the garden, 'Moonshine' is similar to A. x 'Coronation Gold' except in size and shade of flower color. The inflorescences are flat-topped, dense, deep lemon-yellow and 2-3" in diameter, while the gray-green foliage is filigreed. It is one of the most popular yarrows in American landscapes and is often recommended because of habit and interesting flower color. The flowers appear in early June and continue until September." - Allan Armitage
